Car #31
Info
Our latest race car, the xb025 is ready to fight for victory at FSG 2025. As always, TUfast aims to win via its signature light weight philosophy with a CFD-optimized aerodynamic package and a carbon fibre monocoque. The fully electric drive consists of 4 E-machines, each capable of 35kW of power, a three-phase SiC-inverter and a 600V, 7.03 kWh accumulator, the latter two being designed, developed and built in-house. We are looking forward to challenge for a win at Hockenheimring!

In October 2013 a team of 65 young and motivated students started to develop the 4th electric car of the TUfast Racing Team. The challenge for this year was to develop a four wheel drive car, aiming for less than 200kg with a aero package. Therefore we implemented some innovative designs e.g. for the rims and the driveshafts. The four wheel drive is also the first in TUfast history.

Info
In October 2012 a team of 65 young and motivated students started to develop the 3rd electric car of the TUfast Racing Team. And after a lot of hard work we were proud to roll out the eb013 out of our shop in June 2013. The challenge for this year was to reduce weight even more, aiming for less than 190kg with a aero package. Therefore we implemented some innovative designs e.g. for the rims and the driveshafts. The full aero package is also a first in TUfast history. So now, we are excited to compete with all the other teams and get to know if we did a good job. And after a hard day full of work, we would be happy to chat with some of you guys about our favorite theme and have a good time. Just come over and have a beer with us.

Info
In 2002 TUfast was founded and in 2010 TUfast e-Technology, therefore we are celebrating ten years of TUfast and our second formula student race car with electric engine, the eb012. Its predecessor was very successful and the overall car concept was well balanced but the car was quite heavy. The eb012 is about 60kg lighter then its predecessor, this was possible by using new lighter electric motors, self developed motor controllers, a smaller accumulator, a new lighter monocoque and for the first time on a TUfast car 10" wheels. If want to learn more about TUfast and the eb012, just come and visit us in our pit or on the campground and have a chat about our favorite theme. And don't forget to have a look at TUfast Racing Team and the nb012.

Info
The TUfast e-Technology Team is a newly founded team of 24 students. Of course we are very closely linked to our ICE-car team, but only four of us have built a FS-car before. Our biggest challenge this year turned out to be the multidisciplinarity of an electric car. To combine the different views and working techniques of electrical and mechanical engineers wasn't always easy.Despite the challenges we managed to complete our first e-racecar: the eb011. As a basis for the mechanical parts we were able to refine some of the concepts that already proved to be fast in our previous ICE-car nb010. It features a lighter monocoque and a stiffer rear frame. On the electric side our unique features are the two powerful motors, each powering one rear wheel in a direct drive installment without the need for a transmission. We had a great time designing and building this car and now we're looking forward to celebrating with you at the competition!
