FSG 2025 will be held from 18th to 24th of August 2025 in Hockenheim.
Have you ever wondered what kind of professional race cars students can design and build in one year? Do you want to experience formula-style cars on a race track? Then pay a visit to Formula Student Germany at the Hockenheimring this summer!
This August, the 19th edition of Formula Student Germany will be held in the 20th year of the FSG. A total of 84 teams from more than 25 different nations will be competing against each other in Formula Student Electric (FSE). Each team have spent one year designing, building and testing their cars – and in Hockenheim they will present their results to the judges and show off their technical solutions on the race track. Visit Formula Student Germany and experience the unique atmosphere of innovation, commitment, fun and race ambiance of over 3000 motivated and talented students from all over the world.
We are thrilled that a whopping 25 vehicles, including 17 combustion vehicles and 8 electric vehicles, from the years 2003 to 2019, have successfully registered for the FSG25 Historic Cup.

Location
Formula Student Germany is held at the paddock of the Hockenheimring. The entrance is near the Motodrom Hotel / Campsite C2 / Grandstand. Information on driving directions and parking can be found here.
Tickets
Visitors can buy tickets online or at the entrance at the Ticket Centre. A day ticket costs 11 Euros, the all-week (Wed-Sun) ticket can be purchased for 44 Euros, the weekend (Fri-Sun) ticket costs 28 Euros.
Visitors can enter the event site starting Tuesday, 2025-08-19 15:30 CEST.
Cash payment is no longer possible. We now only accept payments with a credit card or EC card or PayPal, contactless is welcome.
