Info
Based on the campus of the Technische Universität München, we are now building our 11th combustion car. As always, the nb014 is going to incorporate a number of innovations compared to its predecessors. The aerodynamic package and the suspensions have been redesigned so that they work in harmony together. The most important evolution is the new engine: After 10 years with a 600cc Kawasaki straight-4, this year’s car is powered by a light and efficient 510cc single cylinder engine from KTM.

Info
In October 2012 a team of 65 young and motivated students started to develop the 10th Formula Student Combustion car of the TUfast Racing Team. After a lot of hard work we were proud to roll out the nb013 out of our workshop in June 2013. The challenge for this year was to reduce weight even more, aiming for less than 190kg with a aero package. Therefore we implemented some innovative designs e.g. for the rims and the driveshafts. The full aero package is also a first in TUfast history. So now we are excited to compete with all the other teams and see if we did a good job. And after a hard day full of work, we would be happy to chat with some of you guys about our favorite topic and have a good time. Just come over and have a beer with us.

Info
In 2002 TUfast Racing team was founded, therefore we are celebrating ten years of TUfast and our ninth formula student race car with combustion engine, the nb012. Its predecessor showed that reliability and maintainability are two key factors for a successful formula student car. So the challenge was to build which reliable and well engineered. We came up with the nb012, it has a hybrid chassis, the well known Kawasaki 4-cylinder engine, lots of awesome parts, a well balance package and for the first time on a TUfast car 10" wheels. If you want to learn more about TUfast and the nb012, just come and visit us in our pit or on the campground and have a chat about our favorite theme. And don't forget to have a look at TUfast e-Technology and the eb012.

Info
In October 2010 a team of 36 young and motivated students started to develop the 8th car of the TUfast Racing Team. And after a lot of hard work we were proud to roll out the nb011 out of or shop in May 2011. In addition to a well designed car, last year´s season showed that a lot of car concepts can do well at a FSAE competition, as long as it is easily maintainable and reliable. So the challenge of 2011 was to build a well engineered and reliable car. Regarding that we came up with some good ideas for interesting parts for the nb011 and we are looking forward to Formula Student 2011. So now, we are excited to compete with all the other teams and get to know if we did a good job. And after a hard day full of work, we would be happy to chat with some of you guys about our favorite theme and having a good time. Just come over and visit us.

Info
The TUfast racing team exists since 2002. It was founded by a group of dauntless students, who want more then readings and exams. After the great performance in the first events the project was continued until this date and will go on as long students have the passion building cars on their own. This year we are celebrating 7 years of TUfast and the sixth Formula student race car.The main difference of this year is the combination of a carbon fibre monocoque with an tubular space frame in the rear. The exceptional handling characteristics will be adjusted by a long and extensive testing time with simulating data assistance. Understanding the real vehicle dynamics is one of our main targets this year. 30 Students developed and built this car, our nb09, within 7 months. A very short period which is essential for intensive testing time. We are glad to present our work, feel free to visit us at our pit. Enjoy your time. The thrill of racing is the fuel that keeps us all going.
