Team Description

AAU Racing is the Formula Student team from Aalborg University in Denmark. The team was established in 2003, and the first car competed in FS UK and FS Australia in 2006.

Since then, a total of nine combustion cars have been built, with the latest competing at FSG in 2022 and FSN in 2023. At FSN, the team achieved an impressive 5th place overall and secured its first trophy in the efficiency category.

The upcoming car, G10, will mark the team’s transition to electric power and is set to compete in the summer of 2025.

AAU Racing is a danish formula student team from Aalborg University. Our aim is to build better engineers one car at a time. This would not be possible without support from our sponsors and the university. The goal for our current car (G10) was to build the teams first electric car, focusing on reliability and maximizing learning opportunities. Additionally, efforts have been made to prepare the car for the implementation of a full aero package.
