Our team consists of students from the Cooperative State University Stuttgart and was founded in 2008. The first challenge on a racetrack was here in Hockenheim in 2009 where we gathered a lot of experience. One year later, we came back to Hockenheim with our second car called "Sleek10" – approximately 60 kg lighter than its older brother "Sleek09". Unfortunately, heavy rain during the endurance-event made it impossible to show the potential of "Sleek10" on a longrun. This year we built a completely new car, saved another 30 kg and now we are looking forward to showing the speed of our new "Sleek11" not only in the statics, but especially on the track to make our motto "Sleek11 – the achievements of the previous years united in one car" come true. "Sleek11" is powered by a Honda CBR600RR 4R-engine with 85 hp at 12,000 rpm and a torque of about 65 Nm at 8,000 rpm. The weight-to-power ratio is now at a great level of 2.7 kg/hp. DHBW Engineering is the Formula Student team of the DHBW Stuttgart, last year named BA Engineering. In line with the concept of cooperative education all our members are pursuing theoretical studies and at the same time working for a company of the region. In our rare spare time we constructed and built SLEEK10, our second racing car.Having chosen the goal "With lightweight construction to the TOP 20 at the Formula Student Germany 2010" for the 2010 Formula Student Season, the aim was to minimize as much weight as possible. Therefore we want to achieve a reduction of 20% of the weight from last year’s car with 314 kg. Furthermore the car should be reliable and easy to handle. These criteria were the specifications for designing and developing assemblies and parts during the last months. Our Sleek10 is based on a space frame made of steel and at the heart of our car a Honda CBR600RR engine is beating. Furthermore we have some new inventions like a body shell with a bionic structure.

BA Engineering is the newly established Formula Student team of the University of Cooperative Education Stuttgart. In line with the concept of cooperative education all our members are pursuing theoretical studies and at the same time working for a company of the region. In numerous hours we constructed and built SLEEK, our first contender for Formula Student series. SLEEK is the manifestation of our enthusiasm for racing and the result of the remarkable support from our partners.Although being a first year car, SLEEK features sophisticated solutions like a basalt fiber body shell or a knock control, both being shown for the first time at FSG. At the heart of our car a heavily modified Honda CBR600RR engine is beating, embedded into a tubular space frame. We extensively tested SLEEK and optimized the suspension set-up.Now, we are ready to take on our goal: To finish all dynamic events in Hockenheim successfully.
