Team Description
TOMSOI – top of the mountains, source of infinity – is the name of our cars since our first competition in 2008. That year, we won the Best Newcomer Award in Hockenheim, Gemany, with the first car we have ever designed: TOMSOI I.
Building on this success and the knowledge we gained during the competitions of the past years, we constantly work on our cars’ improvement for an even better performance. Each of our approximately 50 team members of the University of Applied Sciences Kempten works hard to reach our aims, enjoying an atmosphere of enthusiasm and friendship. This dedication also led us to finish in 3rd place in the 2011’s competition in Spain which we are very proud of.

Info
This year we designed the TOMSOI X. After nine fantastic cars we are proud to still improve the vehicle each time a bit more. With the change to prepreg, the maufacturing process is relieved for further saisons. For now we just made a negative prepreg form. But next time, the whole mono is made with prepreg. We want, that the car and all members of Infinity Racing will get there way to the top of the mountains.WE PROULDY PRESEND TOMSOI X!Top of the Mountains, Source of Infinity!

2015
Info
Infinity Racing was established in 2007 and currently consists of about 35 students. In 2015 we present our 7th car. After it turned out that the old concept with steel tube space frame and without aerodynamic devices was pretty exhausted, it was decided to make a change in concept. Logged data, experiences and gained engineering skills resulted in designing the team’s first monocoque and aerodynamic package.

2012
Info
The Infinity Racing Team was established in 2007 and already in 2008 we could celebrate our first great success when we won the “Best Newcomer” award at the FSG. Our team currently consists of about 35 highly motivated and dedicated students out of all faculties of the UAS Kempten. Building on our success and the knowledge we gained during past competitions, we work towards the constant development and improvement of our racing cars to achieve an even better performance. In this year’s competition, we will present our fourth car called “TOMSOI IV”, we reduced its weight by approx. 25 kg compared to last year’s car. For its construction, we used a light tube space frame. A motorsport ABS guarantees a high grade of security. Furthermore, our car features a live telemetry system and many options to change the car’s setup. It is characterized by its high agility and the possibility of fast shifting via pedals on the steering wheel.

Info
The Infinity Racing Team was established in 2007 and today consists of about 40 highly motivated and dedicated students of the UAS Kempten. In this year’s competitions we will present our third car, called TOMSOI III – „Top of the mountains, source of infinity“. As we are always keen to improve ourselves every season, we integrated all our knowledge and skills in its design and construction. By using durable quality material in the whole car and a motorsport ABS we guarantee a high grade of security on the track as well as high reliability. Besides this, our car has a light tube frame, an adjustable pedalbox, a live telemetry system and many options to change the car’s setup. The high agility, the fast shifting via paddles and the real racing sound of a four cylinder combustion engine contribute to the driver’s fun factor. With this year’s car we want to return to former success when we won the Best Newcomer Award in the German competition in 2008.

Info
TOMSOI I - top of the mountains, source of infinity - is the name of our car, which is the first one the Infinity Racing Team has ever designed. We are proud of our car as it combines our passionate work and creativity to build a substantial base for our first experiences at the German Formula Student Event. Our Team exists of more than thirty students of the University of Applied Sciences in Kempten (Allgäu region) and stands for grounded friendships, passion and enthusiasm. Together with our partners, who give us their full support, resources and knowledge we realised this great project. Our car represents a grounded base but also includes some technical highlights. One of them is surely our engine management. We determined the characteristic diagram of our engine which helps us to adjust our engine performance. Moreover we built in a board computer for data recording, recalculation and display on a steering wheel mounted LCD-display to be able to control all parameters at any time.
