Team Description

We are HSNR Racing, a team of around 40 students from Hochschule Niederrhein. Since 2011, we have been working together to develop race cars for Formula Student. Our team brings together members from all fields of study – everyone contributes their strengths so that we can grow together. After 2023, we switched from combustion to electric cars, taking on new challenges. What unites us is our passion for technology, teamwork, and motorsport – together, we strive to improve and push our limits. #fortynine

Info
HSNR Racing represents the UAS Niederrhein from Krefeld, Germany. This year we improved our EV racecar, the RS-25e. It’s based on our car from last year, our first HV-EV racecar. During development we focused on revising the accumulator and the aerodynamic package. The accumulator packaging was overhauled as well as the TSAC, which is now made from aramid. The concept of the car stuck with a spaceframe and hub motors. We have developed our skills and are hopeful to reflect that in our results.

Info
HSNR Racing represents the UAS Niederrhein from Krefeld, Germany. This year we are proud to present our first EV racecar, the RS-24e. The focus of the development was on the accumulator as well as the planetary gearbox, to achieve a competitive car in our first electric season. Though, the car is re-designed, we retained our lightweight aerodynamics and frame concept. We have grown as a team, in numbers as well as knowledge, and are confident to match or exceed last year's results at FSG.
