Car #185 RaceUP Electric Padova
Info
Race UP Electric Padova Team was born 10 years ago after the decision of investing in the innovation of Electric cars in Formula Student. This season we developed the ninth car of our history, the SGe-09, and the key aspects of this year are: Driverless dynamics improvement as well as a renewed Powertrain in all of his forms: HV Battery pack and semi-custom Motors. This year focus was on new designs, transition and data acquisition on order to guarantee next year's systems optimization.
Engineering Design Priorities:
Systems Integration In house manufacturing Custom Electronics Top-Down approach Driverless Improvement Assembly Efficiency

This is our first electric car, thus the aim of the project has been creating a solid, scalable baseline for future years. We decided to take two years to begin the electric project, spending the first year mainly to develop the most critical and time consuming parts like motor prototypes, inverter software/hardware, matlab vehicle models, preliminar CFD analysis and development of composite material prediction models. The second year we focused on the specific car design and manufacturing.
Engineering Design Priorities:
Baseline for future Scalable powetrain MATLAB models Composites FEM Analysis CFD
