Info
Founded in 2003, UPM Racing is the first Spanish FS team, made up of 60 engineering students of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. In 2018, we moved on from combustion and changed our philosophy, switching to our first carbon fibre monocoque, 4 in-wheel-drive electric system to create the most revolutionary car of our history. This season we have optimized that concept to extract its maximum potential, now embodied in the UPM04e, which will fly with us to FSG boosting us to do our best!

Info
UPM Racing is the FS team of Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Founded in 2003, it is the first Spanish team that participated in the competition. The team is formed by 50 students from different disciplines. After many years competing with combustion cars, we changed our philosophy and moved into our first monocoque chassis, that combined with a new 4 in-wheel-drive system, makes UPM03e the most revolutionary car of our history. We are back at FSG to do our best and enjoy the competition!

Info
UPM Racing celebrates in 2013 its 10th anniversary by participating in FSAE Germany with two cars: one with a combustion engine and the other with an electric drivetrain. Each of our teams is composed of 20 automotive-passionated students who work part-time in the project, combining it with their degrees. The team members belong to the Technical University of Madrid, so the project lays on varied skills and knowledge. With a fairly tight budget, UPM Racing tries each year to introduce improvements in their new cars. In our electric prototype, the evolution comes through a save-weight program in order to reduce 30% of it (compared with UPM001-E), thanks to an extensive use of carbon fiber in car parts and new batteries. We remain at your disposition during the competition for any additional information. Finally, we are grateful for all our sponsors, without them this project won’t be possible. We hope to see you all in Hockenheim!

Info
The UPM Racing electric team was founded in 2010 with all the eight years of experience of our brother UPM Racing combustion. Thus, a group of students in engineering in multiple fields decided to step in and accept the challenge of building an electric racing car, combining simplicity with performance. As a result, we have now a very practical car propelled by two rear electric motors which meets the most important pillars: reliability, performance and efficiency. Our car is the next step in evolution of racing cars, gathering all the qualities the racing world needs. Furthermore, it is not just a car it is our philosophy, "Evolution and Adaptation", those are the ideas people are excited about. That is why with pride, the UPM Racing electric team along with the Polytechnic University of Madrid present the UPM08e.
