Our home-event in Hockenheim is this year's highlight for the Delta Racing Team. Located 30 km from the track, we are eager to show the performance of the DR14-C to our home crowd. This year, we designed an all-new lightweight concept sporting a lightweight space frame, 10 inch suspension, new KTM EXC 500 engine and a first time aerodynamic package. This season, we strive for reliability and successful on-track action as well as good statics. Come over to our pit and check out our brand-new car!

Info
The home-event in Hockenheim is the season highlight for the Delta Racing Team from the University of Applied Sciences Mannheim. Located around 30 km from the track, we are highly motivated to show the capability and performance of our 2013 car. Our most distinguishing feature is the in-line drive train composed of an intercooled turbo charged two cylinder twin engine and a separated 4-speed gearbox, which shows around 110 Nm torque at only 4500 rpm. Our main goals for this season is to improve reliability, reduce weight and finish all dynamic events. To reach this, we massively increased our use of composites, worked out weight reduction for many parts by not degrading stability and optimized the engine performance. The car was built to give our drivers a fast, spicy and reliable car. Ergonomics and suspension setup were further improved to last year. In order to learn more about our car, we invite you to come over to our pit so we can proudly present you our new DR13 turbo charged!

This year is the third season for the Delta Racing Team from the University of Applied Sciences Mannheim competing at our home-event in Hockenheim. Located around 30 km near the track, we are highly motivated to show the capability and performance of our car. Our most distinguishing feature is the in-line drive train composed of an intercooled turbo charged two cylinder engine and a separated 2-speed gearbox with integrated limited slip differential. Our main goals for this season is to improve reliability, reduce weight and burn a hell of rubber at the events. To reach this, we massively increased our use of composites, worked out weight reduction for many parts by not degrading stability and optimized the engine performance. The car was built to give our drivers a sharp weapon at hand, so ergonomics and suspension setup were fine tuned to their demands. In order to learn more about our car, we invite you to come over to our pit so we can proudly present you our brand new DR12TC!

Info
This year is the second season for the Formula Student Team from University of Applied Sciences Mannheim. The team was founded in December 2008 and consists of around 25 highly motivated students working at the project. Our main goals for this season are a improved reliability and weight reduction. The most distinguishing feature of the DR11-TC is the in line drive train composed of a intercooled, turbo charched two cylinder 607ccm engine and separate 2 speed gearbox with limited slip salisbury differential. The tubular space frame was completely revised to bring more stiffness by less weight. Tight corners and a bumpy surface make high demands on the suspension system which is featured with anti dive and anti squat. Fabricated from carbon fibre and aluminium, a weight reduction of 30% is gained. An attached data logging system helps us to understand the car better and improve our engineering.

Info
Delta Racing is the Formula Student Team of the Mannheim University of Applied Science. The Team was founded in December 2008 and has ever since worked towards the completion of the DR 10 TC, the first prototype. Our objective for the 2010 season is to achieve the title of “Best Newcomer” at the Hockenheimring. The concept is simple: dependability is paramount, drive train and suspension our mainstays for good pace. Breaking with formula student conventions our first car is powered by a turbocharged two cylinder in-line engine, supplied by Weber Motor. The power is distributed by a sturdy transaxle racing transmission with a Salisbury type differential. Another highlight is the suspension system which features anti dive and anti squat. The kinematics were optimized for agility in the tight circuits common to formula student competitions. The Team is very excited for the competition and hopes for good results.
