Team Description

Dynamis PRC is a Team composed of more than 100 students of Politecnico who design and build a prototype racing car every year since 2004. After years of competitions and successes in the CV category, we achieved the 4th place in the world ranking in 2019. From the following year we pivoted to on building an EV prototype, which is also equipped with an Autonomous System. We have steadily kept our status of 1st italian team since 2018, while also taking on new challenges.

Dynamis PRC turns 20 this year. With 15 years of combustion behind us, we have been competing in the EV-DV category since 2021. This year, DP15 aims to reduce mass by 8% compared to DP14 and this increase performance by bringing the first power unit based on the 10-inch wheel. A lot of effort went into reducing the mass, which dropped by 10% compared to the previous prototype. For this season we have decided to maintain the standard of 4 races and will participate in FSCH, FSA, FSCZ, FSG.

Dynamis PRC, after 15 years of combustion prototypes, switched to the EV category in 2021. After only one year of experience, the team decided to embrace the new challenge to compete with the same vehicle also in DV competitions. DP13autonoma was designed to integrate the DV system, developed with track tests on the 2021 car, with low impact on volume and weight. All the other systems were improved with new battery pack, suspension scheme, lighter monocoque and aero package with hollow laminate.
