Team Bath Racing Electric (TBRe) was founded in 2015. Since our formation in 2015, TBRe has grown and developed at an astonishing rate. We have a strong multi-disciplinary team with team member across the electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science and business management departments

Team Bath Racing Electric (TBRe) is the University of Bath's Formula Student electric team. Over 200 students from across engineering and business disciplines design, manufacture, and race a fully electric single-seater every year, competing internationally. TBRe was the fastest EV at Formula Student UK 2025 and is pushing performance further for 2026 with a new twin rear in-hub motor architecture, while giving students the hands-on experience that shapes the next generation of motorsport engine

The UK's #1 EV FS Team, Team Bath Racing Electric (TBRe) is excited to take on the 2025 edition of FSG. A team of students from a diverse range of degree programs, they are proud to represent the University of Bath and the UK on the European stage. This is the team's first competed edition of FSG.With a single-motor RWD powertrain and CFRP Monocoque, the team is building off their full completion of dynamic events last season to carry technical momentum into a highly competitive 2025 season.
