Car #76
Info
Racetech Racing Team was founded in 2005. This year we are competing with our 15th car, which is our tenth electric vehicle. After building our first all-wheel drive car, with self-developed electric motors last season, the RT15’s big change is our first full carbon fiber monocoque. In line with our continuing focus to reduce our cars weight, we also worked intensely to improve our performance with a further development of our aerodynamic devices.

Info
Racetech Racing Team was founded in 2005. After a small hiatus, we will compete with our 14th car this year. After an era of rear-wheel drive cars, the RT14's key design changes are the switch to all-wheel drive and an increased focus on aerodynamics. This resulted in big changes throughout the car's layout and components, which we are proud to show off at this year's events. The RT14 will take on the competition in the Netherlands and Germany. We are looking forward to meeting you in the pits!

Info
After a very successful start into electrical racing our team from the TU Freiberg is proud to participate again in the FSE with our second electrical racecar. The RTo7 is a consequent development of our last year's car, combining the experience of 2012 with new ideas and our traditional focus on a wide range of materials and manufacturing methods as well as a high degree of self-developed parts. As a result of this guidelines we developed our own casted brake calipers and self routed, assembled and programmed VCU and BMS. The most obvious and unique technical highlight on our new car is the casted aluminum gear box housing which includes the motor mountings and all rear suspension parts. In addition the gear box housing contains a self-designed titanium-aluminum hybrid gear box. A great Thanks to our sponsors, families and alumni for making all of this possible. We are looking forward to an exciting event season 2013 and wish all teams unforgettable days.

Info
After developing five combustion race cars, consequently following the motto “Where there’s a team there’s a way”, this year’s Racetech Racing Team took off in the new direction of electrical racing. Studying at a University of Mining and Technology, one focus set on material science, 51 students walked the extra mile to collect the additional knowledge to realise the project. As in previous seasons our team concentrated on the use of advanced materials and manufacturing methods. A prominent demonstration of this attitude is both, our hybrid body shell made of magnesium and NFK as well as our impressive casted components such as the gearbox housing and multifunctional motor mounting. We furthermore kept the ambition to fabricate as many parts as possible on our own. A great Thanks to our sponsors, families and alumni. We are proud to participate with our first electrical race car in this year’s competition and wish all teams a successful and unforgettable event season 2012.
