With a great basis from last year's design, the new CAT keeps the same philosophy but improves lots of details to achieve better reliability and performance. BCN eMotorsport is the new era of ETSEIB Motorsport, one of the oldest Formula Student Teams founded in 2007. After building four combustion cars, the team decided to change to the EV category, creating ten electric cars since 2011. In 2019, we joined the DV category, finishing all the dynamic events. This year, we bring our CAT14x up to the table, the fusion of both our 2021 cars, being the first car designed to race on both driverless and manual events. We are excited to come back to FSG!

ETSEIB Motorsport is the FS Team of Barcelona. We seek reliability and high performance in our projects. We focus on self-developing our systems, achieving deep understanding of its functioning and collecting broad and useful know-how.The CAT07-e gathers this accumulated knowledge. We have manufactured more parts than ever, including our 3rd CF monocoque and our own motor controllers. We expect it to be fully operative and running at the highest level at FSG, it has been designed to succeed.

ETSEIB Motorsport, founded in 2007, is the Formula Student Team of the Engineering School of Barcelona. 35 students were involved in this year’s prototype: the CAT06-e. It is our second electric car. After a great experience with our first, the aims of this year are to improve reliability and to improve the performance of the car. Even though we focused on the systems that caused problems during last year’s competitions, all other parts of the car have been redesigned and optimized as well. We worked really hard this season in order to have enough testing time in June to make sure it is fully operative during competitions. This gives us even more credit considering that we have manufactured more and more parts than ever, including our second carbon fiber monocoque and our self-designed motor controllers. Finally, we would like to thank all our sponsors who make our project become a reality specially these complicated years.

We ETSEIB E-Motorsport Barcelona introduce you to the CAT 05e! Our mind-blowing electric Formula Race car. ETSEIB E-Motorsport Barcelona was founded in 2007. After 4 years with combustion cars and improving the results each and every year with a really small budget we decided to go electric and adapt to the trends of the automotive industry. The CAT 05e is the first electric car from our team. We are 25 devoted students that have faced the electric car’s challenge with illusion. A lot of work has been put into this year’s project and even with the change of combustion to electric we expect to reduce 20 kg. The tractive system is composed of two independent powertrains to develop a traction and stability control with huge opportunities. We are really looking forward to FSE2012, #seeyouathockenheim
