Team Description

Centaurus Racing Team was founded in 2009 from 6 students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of University of Thessaly. Since then the team has designed and manufactured 11 race cars, with its last PHOLUS, being the 1st EV of the team. Main objective behind the team's design procedure is to minimize the divergence between simulation-reality and to eliminate the need of trail & error during construction. General team goal is to try and lower the cost of non critical components in order to invest the money/sponsorships in parts that can guarantee better track time.

We Centaurus Racing have accumulated over 50 trophies in the CV category for the last 15 years since 2009. So now we wanted a challenge and became Electric in order to dominate the whole Formula Student. So the Rocketship you will see might explode (just joking) and for the 1st time when we became EV and FSG was already EV,we passed and thats a sign of dominance.About the car its the fastest of our local track (Sesklo) with the characteristics you will see below.So enjoy Eppasus,our masterpiece.
