Team Description
Vermilion Racing is a project created by students in 2018, supported by sponsors and DTU (Technical University of Denmark). The project challenges students to create and produce a electric Formula Student vehicle. The aim of the project is to engineer and design the best overall vehicle, to compete against other teams from across the globe.
Throughout the team’s history the main objective has been to create a reliable car that can pass scrutineering and finish all events. We have been working very hard to get the car running from when the project re-started after covid in 2022, and in December 2024 achieved a running EV. Our mentality has always been “keep it simple” and ensure that we could get though scrutineering and finish all dynamic events. Therefore, much of the time after getting the car to run was spent improving reliability and ensuring rules compliancy.
