Team Description

The Formula Student Team of COEP TU, founded in 2011.
The team is known for being the first in Asia to successfully turbocharge the KTM 390 engine and have had great success with our combustion vehicles.
In 2019, we designed our first electric vehicle and have had consistent podium finishes since.
We are India's first FS Racecar with hub motors.

Team Octane Racing has built 8CV and 5 EVs since 2010. Known for building Asia's only successfully turbocharged KTM 390 CV in 2019. In 2025, we proudly present Blitz 1.0- India's 1st FSEV with in-wheel motors. We aim to build a 4WD DV by 2030. 2025 is our team's first international season with an intent to learn and gain exposure. Our car features two 35kW PMSM with self designed DMLS casing-jacket, compound planetary gearbox, 52 kg 588V battery pack with self developed BMS and torque vectoring.
