Team Description

Established in May 2018, Formula Student Vitoria is a new team from the Basque Country. We decided to take more time to design and manufacture our first car instead of making a one-year prototype so that we could set two main ambitious goals: carbon fiber monocoque chassis and in wheel motors 4WD traction system.
Mainly supported by local institutions and enterprises FSV shares its knowledge with every educational levels from primary schools to professional training centers.

They didn´t complete the scrutineering, but this year they are fully focused and aimed to have their car running on track, participating in dinamic events for the first time. For their concept they decided to set big ambitious goals: design and manufacture of a carbon fibre monocoque chassis and an in wheel 4WD electric tractive system.
Engineering Design Priorities:
Mechanical Reliability Electrical easy implement Lighter aero pack Lighter monocoque More efficient cooling Regulable suspension
