Ecurie Aix is one of the oldest Formula Student Teams in Germany, founded in the year 2000. The team name is derived from the french words ecurie meaning racing team and aix standing for Aachen. Our team has 65 members responsible for building two cars: redesigning one car for the driverless competition and an electric race car. For the year 2018 we chose a new car as basis for our driverless competitor. Additionally to our system from last year, we use two Lidar to detect the environment.
