Info
Raceyard Kiel, the northernmost of the German Formula Student Teams, started to participate in Formula Student Events in 2006. After we had won four awards in the last years and were placed 9th in the last FSUK Event, the mission for this year is to take on the international Top-5. Therefore we have analysed last year's T-Kiel A 10 thoroughly and found a lot of potential for improvement. Also we have redesigned our team structure and all processes to increase the effectivity of our team work, improve the team documentation and create a sound team knowledge. New developments on our T-Kiel A 11 include an innovative intake system, which features a fully variable inlet port geometry in order to maximise the torque output over the whole rev band. This contributes towards the driveability of the car, but also reduces the fuel consumption. We are looking forward to the 2011 competition series and wish good luck to every team. We invite you all to visit our pit for further informations.

Info
Raceyard Kiel, the northernmost of the German Formula Student Teams, started to participate in Formula Student Events in 2006, when the Team made an impressive debut to the Hockenheim ring.In 2009, the team completed its most successful season so far, finishing 11th in Silverstone and winning the acceleration event both in Silverstone and Hockenheim. Having proven that Raceyard can build vehicles that go fast in a straight line, our goal for the 2010 competitions is to improve cornering capabilities. The team had gained a lot of knowledge in this competition, so we are confident to achieve our goals and get our footprint among the top 10 teams in the European FS events. In order to improve the performance in dynamic events , the suspension of the vehicle had to be changed drastically. The main changes include the choice of new tyres and the reduction of the wheelbase. We would like to thank all our sponsors for their magnificent support! And always remember: we are NORDISH BY NATURE

Info
RACEYARD Kiel was founded in August 2005 and quickly grew to about 15 members. After taking a long time to build the right team, the first car was designed and built in only four months (T-KIEL-A 06)! After winning the award for the best Newcomer at FSG 2006 in Hockenheim the team continued to grow, reaching 30 members. The team further established its skills and talent winning the 1st place in the acceleration competition. In 2008 RACEYARD Kiel grew to 40 members, all of whom are extremely motivated to continue the team’s success and secure one of the top places at FSG in Hockenheim 2008.
