Team Description

NUST Formula Student Team (NFST) initiated in 2012 is the first team from Pakistan to participate in Formula Student Competitions and still is the first to represent Pakistan in the famous Hockenheim ring Circuit in 2015.

The team has been representing Pakistan at Formula Student UK for the past years and recently achieved 5th overall position while securing the top spot in Laptime simulation event.

NFST has created eight iterations of combustion vehicle and now recognising the global shift towards sustainability have designed Pakistan's first Formula style hybrid vehicle in 2024, now aiming to participate in FS 2026 with the second hybrid FS car.

Ever since its debut in Formula Student UK 2012, the team has made consistent progress in all domains over the years, and went on to win the "Most Effective Communications Strategy Award" in FSUK 2014. Embodying the true spirit of Formula Student, the team has inspired and supported countless other teams to follow suit in representing Pakistan in Formula Student competitions all over the world

The goal for this year is to produce a simple and reliable car that can compete in all events at FSG 2015. The team owes its success and achievements to its sponsors and supporters.
