Info
In 2011 the Team wob-racing joints the FSG Evet with the WR07. The Car is developed as part of a platform strategy which means, the WR07 and the WR07-E from eTeam wob-racing go together in the basic design. The WR07 is powered by a Honda PC40 engine. To ensure a good maintenance and a high accuracy for suspension and the drivetrain we are using a highly development rear module that is fastened on the engine. We evolved the dry sump from the WR06 to benefit from a constant oil pressure during high lateral acceleration. The dashboard is the centre of information and control unit for the driver. It supports with information like gear, rpm and warning lamps and integrates the control unit for the dashboard. Also car functions like traction-control, launch-control and emergency stop can be controlled by the driver. Another special feature is the possibility to dim the LED´s. The WR07 is a powerful race car and we hope to improve the last years´results in Hockenheim with this car.

2010
Info
With this year’s car, the WR06, Team wob-racing participates for the 5th time in the FSG Event. As its preceding model the WR06 is powered by a Honda PC 40 engine. This year we tried to reduce the weight, in some places we reached half of the weight compared to the year before. For the first time we use a dry sump lubrication system to guarantee a constant oil pressure during high lateral acceleration. In this way we also reduced the centre of gravity of the car. Another new feature is the rear module at the end of the frame. Besides a good maintenance, it ensures a high accuracy for suspension and for the drive train because it is referenced and fastened on the engine. The seat is developed under the target of better ergonomics. Furthermore it is completely removable so all control units and the battery can be reached easily. The WR06 is one of the most engineered cars of our team. With this fabulous new race car we hope to improve the last years’ results in Hockenheim!

2009
Info
After a very successful season 2007/2008 with the WR04, Team wob-racing presented the brand-new car WR05 on 20th May in Wolfsburg. The WR05 is, as the name implies, the fifth car of the team after foundation in 2003, what by the way makes us to one of the pioneer teams in Germany. During the years lots of changes happened but one thing had outlasted all the time: Our engine, the Honda PC35, originally from the CBR. In 2009 we broke this mold and decided to use the Honda engine PC40, which was one of the most significant changes within the WR05. Beside we optimized, among other things, our variable air-intake-system and for the first time we applied an electronic power management. Furthermore our team rose up to 50 members and the number of our industrial partners increased up to 70. With the WR05 Team wob-racing has the opportunity to improve the last years’ results and after lots of months on the waiting list for FSG, we are very glad to attend in Hockenheim in 2009!

2008
Info
The wob-racing team was founded in 2003 as a project of the University of Applied Sciences Braunschweig/ Wolfenbüttel. The Team’s headquarter is Wolfsburg, one of Europe’s most important towns in the automotive industry. The team consists currently of 30 members and is sponsored by 22 partners. After one year of development we presented the WR04 at Wolfsburg’s Mobile Life Campus in July 2008. The WR04 represents an evolutionary step forward in designing a racing car. Compared to its predecessor it contains a WLAN telemetry system, a variable air intake system and a specifically developed titan exhaust. Moreover we could reduce the weight and simultaneously improve the stiffness of the frame. Our aim is to improve our last year’s results and let this season become the best one we ever had. To achieve this goal our maxim is not to act as 28 members and 22 partners, but as one team.
