After a challenging year with failures in four endurances in 2015 but also seven TOP3 finishes, we are back with a car that has improved in all sectors. A huge aero package is designed to generate the absolute maximum downforce for high cornering speed. The powerful four cylinder engine allows fast acceleration and durability. We lowered the center of gravity and reduced the weight by more then 25 kilogram.Big thanks to the HTWG Konstanz and all of our sponsors for their ongoing support!

With new team-leaders in almost every section and high expectations of building the ninth racecar the BRT had a special challenge for this season. Nevertheless the Iltis14 shows that the challenge got mastered. With the new aero package we want to become stronger in dynamic disciplines. Live telemetry will help to create a perfect setup, which is based on a more recent type of the Suzuki GSX-R, a tubular space frame and 13 inch wheels. We are looking forward to a great season 2014.

Since our foundation in 2005 our ambitious aim is continuous improvement and development in all disciplines of the Formula Student. New members stand for new ideas and knowledge – in 2013 we reached an all-time high of 66 team members. The Iltis13 combines all our strength and starts lighter and faster than ever in the season 2013. With a Suzuki GSX-R engine and a weight of 207 kilogram we are well prepared. The special hybrid wheels made of carbon and aluminum are only one reason for our successful lightweight implementation. Different to our last-season-car we switched from push rods to pull rods. This modification promises an improvement on track through agile and easy handling. Our self-made live telemetry system enables a specific car setup for every track requirement. A special thanks to all our sponsors and supporters. The Bodensee Racing Team looks forward to a great season 2013 and a successful event in Hockenheim.

Info
Founded in 2005, the Bodensee Racing Team consistently improved its car as well as in-house skills and expertise. With our 38 team members we’re looking forward to a favorable season 2012 and a great event in Hockenheim. We developed many parts of our last-season-car to design a faster and lighter “Iltis12”. Different to our other cars we mount our dampers overhead this year. Additionally, the steering shaft is also mounted inside, so the whole car looks narrower. With a weight of 219 kilogram we reached our aim of a yearly lighter construction, along with a steel frame. Furthermore our special hybrid wheel rim made of carbon and aluminium allow a new category of weight and speed possibility. We get powered by a modified Suzuki GSX-R Engine with a 4-2-1 exhaust pipe system. The drive train assembly is fitted to the engine and supported at the rear frame tube, which results in high stiffness and easy handling.

Founded in 2005 the Bodensee Racing Team consistently increased its car as well as in-house skills and expertise. With our 45 teammembers we're looking forward to a favorable season 2011 and a great Event in Hockenheim. We developed many parts of our last-season-car to construe a repeatedly effective and hopefully faster "Iltis11", our slightest car so far. With a weight of 220 kilogramm we reached our aim of a yearly lighter construction, among with a stainless steel frame. Furthermore our special hybrid wheel rim made of carbon and aluminium allow a new category of weight and speed possibility. We use to get powered by a modified Honda GSX-R-Engine with an 4-2-1 exhaust pipe system. The drivetrain assembly is fitted to the engine and supported at the rear frame tube, wich results in high stiffness and easy handling. The idea of our unique but already established steering concept was revised and improved while we maintained the basics for a functional guarantee.

The Bodensee Racing Team started in 2006 and is ready to present its fourth Formula Student racecar. After ups and downs in the first two years we were happy to build a car in 2008 which made it through Scrutineering in the first run and could finish the Endurance competition. This means we had a good base to build on for the current Iltis09. But as in the real world you should never be too satisfied and continue to be critical with your solutions. With this in mind nearly 60 students started to develop and manufacture our new racecar. Improvements include a stiffer frame, better chassis, fully adjustable steering and more power. All these improvements are responsible for the better handling, acceleration and dynamic behavior of the Iltis09. We are ready to race! Are you?For more information and details visit us in our pit in Hockenheim or Fiorano this year. Thanks to all our Sponsors and Patrons for your enthusiasm and support. Good luck to all other teams.

The Bodensee Racing Team of the University of Applied Sciences Konstanz was founded a good three years ago initiated by Florian Wagner. With Prof. Dr. Kuchar a patron was found and it didn't take long for students infected with racing feaver to join the project. In the current season there are 37 students from all departments. At the beginning of May we celebrated our Rollout in an unusual location. On May 8th, 2008 we welcomed numerous sponsors, professors, department heads and other guests for the unveiling of the Iltis 08 on the ferryboat Fontainebleau on the Lake of Constance. The Iltis 08 is the consequent technical derivative of the Iltis 07 focusing on reliability and efficiency. The components used have all proven themselves to be reliable and highly functional in the field and the engine used has been optimized on our test bench for the Formula Student races, forming the solid foundation on which future Iltisses will be built.
