Riteh Racing Team consists of 45 team members that represent a broad range of expertise from 4 constituents of University of Rijeka. For this season the team focused primarily on decreasing the level of complexity in the car in search of an increase in reliability, reduction of manufacturing time and improved serviceability. This decision was made due to decrease in the number of team members, decrease in resources and rise in manufacturing difficulties following the global Covid pandemic.

The University of Rijeka has a very long tradition in naval architecture. There are nine of us spread over the second, third and fourth years of studies and we would like to be the first to start a new tradition: building Formula Student cars to enrich the theoretical knowledge that our university provides us with and to implement FS as part of our educational program. We don't have experience with projects such as Formula Student so we decided to build a simpler car. Steel tubular chassis, double A-arms with pushrod actuated dampers, O.Z. Racing wheels with Hoosier tires, naturally aspired Yamaha R6 engine with VEMS ECU, our own patent protected differential and fiber glass body shell. We have tried to replace lack of experience with good benchmarking but have also applied our own ideas. As rookies, we are well aware of our imperfections, but we are willing and eager to learn. We are looking forward to the competition and meeting racing fans like ourselves.
