It's the sixth season of the team of Moscow UMech MAMI participating in Formula Student Germany event. You have known us as FS-MAMI team, but everything is progressing. So we are glad to present you FDR MAMI team (Formula Dream Russia MAMI team). Lots of things have changed, FDR MAMI is a new concept of team organization, methods of designing and as a result of our progress you will see the new Iguana G6 race car which is extremely lightweight, reliable and fast. A lot of time-proved solutions were realized in this season, but more new features came. We started to use hybrid construction of the frame, added aerodynamic elements and changed our wheels from 13'' to 10''. These significant changes are inspiring to show the team's resoluteness at the competition. We're looking forward to the FSG competition. See you in our pit!

The Formula Student MAMI team from Moscow State Technical University «MAMI» is ready to present to you the Iguana EVO4 race car. Full of energy and enthusiasm we burn with the desire to build fast cars. Iguana EVO4 is a comparatively simple race car with striking asymmetrical design. Over 25 highly motivated students were involved in project. As a result the overall vehicle weight was reduced, the frame stiffness was increased, the intake system and the exhaust system were modified and a new Data Logging System was introduced in comparison with Iguana EVO3. We are confident that our race car will not leave anyone indifferent. The team is ready to show good results at the FSG 2012 event.

FS-MAMI has been active since 2007 and is the first Russian team whose car successfully completed the final endurance race. In 2008–2011 Formula Student MAMI is the best Russian team in the world ranking list of the FSAE teams. In concept of a new car we put such features that would allow us to not just finish the race, but fully demonstrate our competitiveness. While designing Iguana EVO 3, we set our main technical tasks of further weight reduction, lowering of the gravity center and increasing of power and reliability of the car overall. We have reached the goals by installation of the lubrication system with dry sump, modifying of monoshock suspension, improvement of intake and exhaust systems and adoption of new electronic system. 20 students were involved in the work on EVO 3. It allowed us to more thoroughly and comprehensively organize our work. We look forward to the opportunity to demonstrate our achievements and to represent Russia in Hockenheim.

Our team represents Moscow TU MAMI, a largest Russian university specializing in mechanical engineering. 2010 competition is our third entry.IGUANA-3 is an attempt to combine non-standard solutions and developments used in our previous cars. The special attention is paid to original suspension design, improved electronic system and overall weight minimizing. Emphasis on safety, reliability and handling characteristics response to the main team’s goal of 2010 season – to complete successfully all dynamic events. Despite of time restrictions, we want to bring IGUANA-3 to the track well-tested and ready for race. We believe that building a racecar requires lots of skills and patience, but there will be no success without passion. That is why our motto is "The passion for engineering"!

FS-MAMI Team presents its second car. Designing Iguana Evo we tried to apply all experience achieved with the first car - we tried to realize new ideas and avoid old problems. In 2009 we have new friends - our sponsors - who helped us to build the car. Comparison of two years in Formula Student demonstrates us a big role of all people who support the team and greatest value and necessity of the work with sponsors.
