Protest Procedure (DE 4.4)
Step 1: Request for Clarification
To initiate the protest procedure according to A 3.7.2, you must submit a request for clarification before the announced protest deadline. The request must at least contain the following information:
- Rule interpretation, score or official action you protest against
- Explanation of your interpretation of the rules regarding the incident
- Additional material supporting your interpretation

Step 2: Informal Preliminary Review with an Official
After submitting the request for clarification, your team captain is going to be contacted by an official for an informal preliminary review.
Step 3: Formal Protest (25 points bond)
Within 2h after the review you can chose to continue the procedure by submitting a formal protest in response to the ticket opened in step 1, binding 25 points to it.
If no formal protest is received within 2h after the review, the protest procedure for this incident is cancelled permanently.
