Team Description

Fast Charge born at the end of 2012 from the heritage of Tuscia Reparto Corse team and in collaboration with:
CTL, Transportation and Logistics Research Centre of Sapienza University, www.ctl.uniroma1.it
ENEA, the Italian agency for new technologies, energy and sustainable economic development, www.enea.it
SCIRE, scientific consortium for the industrial research and engineering, www.consorzioscire.it
and with the precious partenership with ENEL, the largest italian power company, www.enel.com
The aim of Fast Charge racing team is to design and build a full electric racing car for Formula Student European events, in order to prepare the young engineers to the automotive technologies of the future.

Sapienza Fast Charge is the Formula Student Electric team of Sapienza University of Rome. The team is made of 120 students from various courses and, for the 2024 season, is focusing its design activity on the optimization of powertrain and of monocoque chassis. Also a careful design of the storage system has been performed, combining a sizing strategy tailored on real data with an optimized cooling system. Last but not least our goal for the 2024 season it's to get our Driverless car on track!
