Team Description

The Formula Student Team Weingarten is the racing team of UAS Weingarten, established in 2008.
The FSTW rely on more than 60 students and a considerable number of sponsors. Together with our university and sponsors it was possible to build our “Stinger16” and to take part at FSAE events all over europe.
To improve the results from the recent years, the Formula Student Team Weingarten focused on weight reduction while maintaining security and reliability of the car to gain as much points as possible on a FSAE Event. This was achieved by a high level of team structure, weekly workshops and a comprehensive knowledge database.
Thereby we were able to keep our timetable tight and have more time for testing and instructing our drivers.
With great enthusiasm the Formula Student Team Weingarten is looking forward to the Event in Hockenheim to compete with other teams and have a fantastic time beside the racetrack.
