Team Description

At VUB Racing we operate under the slogan “BUILT NOT BOUGHT”. In addition to a theoretical and analytical approach, the practical side of engineering plays a very important role in our education. This philosophy is in line with our university and more specifically our engineering technology department.

Therefore, we make as much as possible instead of buying parts from suppliers. Helping us become better engineers with a higher understanding of our work. An example of this is our fully custom designed and built motors. This also included the hand winding of the coils.
