On Track for FSG 2010

Category: Competition

Since Sunday evening, the foundations for this year's Formula Student Germany are being laid at Hockenheim.
Whilst Event Control looks almost ready for competition, many other vital parts of FSG like the set-up of tracks and grandstands, the preparation of the FSG Forum, the pits and the various marquees can only be made tomorrow. Nonetheless, first testing sessions are under way and hint at a great event.

From Wednesday, 4th August 2010, through to Sunday, 8th August 2010, the fifth Formula Student Germany will take place at the Hockenheimring. This year 78 national and international teams are expected to compete in Formula Student Combustion. An additional 15 teams will compete in the newly founded Formula Student Electric, the first ever Formula Student event, where only fully electrical-powered vehicles are allowed to participate.
Registration for Formula Student Germany will start on Wednesday, thereafter teams will move into their pits and prepare for the different static and dynamic events. We are looking forward to an exciting and successful event.
