First Formula Student Germany started successfully
The first Formula Student Germany competition started today. 40 Teams from 10 nations found their way to the Hockenheimring, settled in their pits and started with the four stations of the technical and safety inspection. In the Style Event the optical design of all those cars, who had applied for it, was judged. The prize will be awarded on Friday evening.
Furthermore, we welcomed the judges, highranking representatives from the automotive industry, who will evaluate the work of the teams regarding cost, design and business case on Friday.
Members of the press are offered a guided tour of the event site following the press conference at 11am in the FSG forum. Part of the tour are the pits, meeting teams and visiting the technical and safety site.
The first part of the award ceremony for the Presentation, Cost and Style Event and the SolidWorks "Design & Analysis Award“ will be held Friday evening.
