Info
The FT20c will challenge its competition with the new overall "Size 250" concept, that thrives on a new powertrain, focuses on aerodynamic efficiency, and entails changes in all areas of the race car. FaSTTUBe combines its strengths and, thanks to the clever design of the steel lattice frame and a multi-link rear axle, enables optimum packaging in the rear of the vehicle to provide more design freedom and surface area for the underbody as the most efficient component of the aerodynamic package.

Info
The FT2015, the 10th car in the history of FaSTTUBe, is a refinement of the concept developed in the last three years. Our engine performance was greatly enhanced by the use of a turbocharger. Other subsystems were optimized in terms of performance, reliability and manufacturing effort. We would like to stress our great balance between performance, cost and manufacturing quality. We're looking forward to FSG 2015 and like to invite everybody for a round of table soccer on our campground!

Car #118
Info
The FT2014, the 9th car in the history of FaSTTUBe, is the result of a three-years development plan. After changing to a single-cylinder engine in 2012 and to a 10-inch suspension in 2013, the main focus in designing the FT2014 was to build up a completely new aerodynamic package by leaving the total weight of the car unchanged. Beside optimizing all assemblies of the car (drivetrain, air intake, steering, suspension), another big aim was to maintain our high manufacturing-quality.
Engineering Design Priorities:
Reliability Performance Packaging Maintainability manufacturing quality weight

Info
FaSTTUBe´s 8th car, the FT2013, unites revolution and evolution. After changing the overall-concept from a four-cylinder engine to a single-cylinder engine in 2012, the FT2013 is the next step of our new concept. The revolutionary part of the car is the completely new developed 10''-wheel suspension. The evolution is clearly evident in the drivetrain, the air-intake system, the exhaust-system, the vehicle control units, the engine mapping and the lightweight concept. Still, we have nothing to hide: our aim was to maintain our high manufacturing-quality and the transparent bodywork, allowing spectators to have a look at the car´s technology. FT2013 - built out of experience, knowledge, passion and dedication. Because racing is a state of mind.

In this season’s racing car, the FT2012, we changed our motor concept to a one-cylinder motor, forcing a complete new car design. Still, we have got nothing to hide: our aim was to sustain our high quality in manufacturing and the transparent bodywork, allowing spectators to have a look at the car’s technology. Our team was committed and worked passionately to reach an ambitious goal. Again, we are excited to be part of the FSG and hope it’ll be the lucky number seven!

2011 is the sixth season of the Formula Student Team of the Technical University of Berlin. Since our first year in this design competition, we are participating in the Formula Student Germany. Ever since we started developing a student-built racing car, our team gained a lot of experience throughout the seasons. Six years of passion, commitment, fun, effort and night shifts. Everything we learned in the past results in the FT2011. Our aim was to improve our last year's transparent bodywork which provides the look into the car's technology and combine it with an efficient drive concept in 2011. We are proud of being a part of the event at the Hockenheimring again and looking forward to see many exciting racing cars, ambitious teams and fast laps on the track!

2010 is the fifth season of the Formula Student Team of the Technical University of Berlin. Since our first year in this design competition, we are participating in the Formula Student Germany. Ever since we started developing a student-built racing car, our team gained a lot of experience throughout the seasons. Five years of passion, commitment, fun, effort and night shifts. Everything we learned in the past results in the FT2010. Therefore we came up with "Visible Efficiency" as the new concept for our fifth racing car. Our aim was to improve our last year's transparent bodywork which provides the look into the car's technology and combine it with an efficient drive concept in 2010. We are proud of being a part of the event at the Hockenheimring again and looking forward to see many exciting racing cars, ambitious teams and fast laps on the track!

Info
This year, FaSTTUBe – the Formula Student Team of the Technical University Berlin – participates in the Formula Student Germany for the fourth time. Ever since we started designing a racing car, our team enhanced constantly its knowledge and the number of contributing students. Within the world economic crisis, we had to handle a lot of new challenges, especially while finding new partners and convincing old ones to support us again in 2009. As all the other Formula Student Teams, FaSTTUBe is dependent on the commitment of interested companies, allocating us material, tools, capacities in manufacturing and other important services. FaSTTUBe is proud of being a part of Formula Student Germany 2009 and very thankful for the generous support of all of its sponsors. Without this mutual cooperation the ongoing work on this project would not have been possible: The FT2009 racecar – build out of experience, knowledge, passion and dedication.

The Formula Student Team of the Technical University of Berlin – FaSTTUBe in short – participates in the Formula Student Germany for the third time. The team has grown to a number of 50 active students from a broad variety of studying fields. The FT2008, their latest addition to the team’s pool of racecars, represents a milestone in the team’s history for it is the last car the students who initiated the project in 2005 are involved with. Next year’s car will be the first one built entirely by non-founder members. The FT2008 is the result of exactly that constellation: Experience from the last two seasons paired with creativity coming from fresh and open-minded novices. Variable air intake lengths, dual rotating cylinder throttle system, exhaust throttle, two-gear hydraulic shifting, highly integrated electronics system including traction control, fully carbon fibre bodywork and floor closeout and the lightweight steel spaceframe are just a few of the highlights of the FT2008
