Registration starts on 22th of January [UPDATE 20171220]

Category: Competition, 2018

The team registration starts on 2018-01-22 13:00 CET and will take place in the form of a quiz. There will be one quiz for all three classes. The topic for the quiz is: Formula Student Rules 2018 (excluding the specific rules for CV, EV and DV) and basic engineering knowledge.

Only the team captain (OR one of his deputies) will be able to complete the quiz. The captain will be able to see one question at a time and may answer this question only once. He won't get any feedback if this answer was correct until the end of the registration quiz at 18:00 CET. The registration order results from the number of correctly answered questions and the time needed.

The URL of the registration website will be https://reg.formulastudent.de. In January you will find an updated test quiz website on https://t.reg.formulastudent.de.

Registration fee is 1000 Euro and includes a 20-person team. More team members can be registered for 50 Euro per participant until the Team Member Designation deadline. Team members may register after this deadline for a late registration fee of 100 Euro per participant.

Registration slots: 60 CV, 40 EV and 18 DV slots.

Reserved slots will be assigned to the teams based on past achievements, countries and their position on the registration list at 18:00 CET.

Answers to frequently asked questions

  1. The order of the questions is the same for all teams.
  2. Questions can not be skipped (to be answered in the end).
  3. The quiz timekeeping starts at 13:00 for all teams, regardless of the actual login.
  4. The number of questions is not defined. It will be probably 10 to 15 questions.
  5. There are no penalty seconds for wrong answers etc.
  6. We will sort the teams first by the wrong answers and after that by the time needed. Thus, a team with no wrong answers is always in front of a team with at least one wrong answer, regardless of the time needed (see the example).
