New Mailing System @ FSG

FSG has switched the mailing system as of December 13th 2017. In practice this should not make a difference - all previously known addresses stay the same. However, we advise especially the teams to check and update their whitelist to our new mailing server fs-m.org. From now on we will be using greylisting and other techniques to reduce the amount of spam we receive. Should you encounter any problems please contact us.

Greylisting:"The server will temporarily reject any email from a sender it does not recognize. If the mail is legitimate the originating server will try again after a delay, and if sufficient time has elapsed the email will be accepted." Therefore, emails from new senders are delayed by about 10-30min, depending on the configuration of the remote server. Rejected mails must be re-delivered within 4 hours by the remote server. All ~10.000 active FSG website users of the last 12 months are in the whitelist (updated every 6h). All FSG recipients of the last 12 months are in this whitelist as well (updated every 2min).
