Team Description
“The HAWKS Racing Team was founded in 2003 and participated in Formula Student the first time in 2004. We currently are 52 students from different specialisations, working on the car and its related businesses divided in interdisciplinary groups. In the year 2011, we will compete the 7th time in FSAE with our new H06.9. It is the next evolutionary step: Not only our self-designed monocoque and rims, but also the exterieur is completely made out of carbon, so we are expecting high weight saving as well as an extraordinary look for our new Hawk! The optimised clutch and shift gearbox are supposed to increase our technical performance and allow even shorter lap-times. We already look forward to the competition in Hockenheim and all other events in year ‘11!”
